Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres is adults-only and quiet, with two gazebos and suites with private pools, which gives a proposal three very different settings. Here is a short plan for each.

Three Settings
By the sea. The Seaside Gazebo, when it is not booked for a wedding, or simply the water's edge. Calm, shallow water and Isla Mujeres on the horizon, with soft even light at the end of the day because the sun sets behind the resort.
The Oasis garden. Around the garden-style Oasis Gazebo, green and sheltered from the wind off the channel. On a breezy winter afternoon it is the better choice, and the softer light suits close, emotional frames.
Your suite. If you have a suite with a private pool, a proposal after sunset with lanterns by the water is completely private. Ask the resort about decoration while you are at dinner, and choose warm lanterns over small tea lights; they photograph far better.

Hiding, Access and After the Yes
Our photographer checks in as your guest and waits 20 to 40 metres away with a long lens, or out of sight in the suite. We agree a message when you leave, a marker where you stop and the moment you turn your partner around. The resort is 18 and over, and the photographer's name goes on your reservation; a short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, but we confirm it with the resort in writing.
After the yes, 20 to 40 minutes of portraits.
