Families at Majestic Mirage stay in the Family Club, with its own buildings, kids' club and water park. Family photos work best away from all that: on the calm beach facing Isla Mujeres, at the right hour. Here is how we plan it.

Where We Shoot

The beach. Calm, shallow water for children to wade and play, with Isla Mujeres on the horizon.

Your suite. Family Club suites include categories with outdoor Jacuzzis and plunge pools, which make a relaxed start to a session.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

Sunrise for young children, the hour before sunset for older ones. If you can face an early start, from roughly November through January the sunrise appears from behind Isla Mujeres.

How the Photographer Gets In

For staying guests, there is no complicated paperwork: you register the photographer as your guest with the front desk a day or two before, and we check in on arrival. The vendor fee you may read about applies to weddings; for a private session, Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres guests are very seldom asked for it, and we confirm the policy in writing before your date.
