Riu Latino suits couples on a honeymoon or anniversary who want a quiet, adults-only base. A photoshoot here is simple and relaxed: a private start at your room if you have a swim-out, then the beach in the last light. Here is how we plan it.

Where We Shoot

Your swim-out room. Riu Latino has swim-out rooms with private pools. If you have one, we begin there, private and unhurried.

The beach. Calm, shallow water and Isla Mujeres on the horizon. Adults-only means fewer people in the background, especially at the edges of the day.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

Start about an hour before sunset; the beach faces east, so the light is soft and even. From roughly November through January the sun rises from behind Isla Mujeres, which makes a sunrise session here unusually striking.

How the Photographer Gets In

Access is simple for guests of Riu Latino. Put the photographer's name on your reservation at the front desk with the time of the session, and we meet you in the lobby. Resorts usually reserve their outside vendor fee for weddings, so a private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged, though we always confirm the current rule in writing first. Visitors who are not staying at the resort normally need a day pass; this guide explains how it works.
