Its sister resort next door, Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres, is known for an elevated Sky Wedding Gazebo; ask whether venues are shared between the two.
For photos, the key is the same as anywhere on this coast: a ceremony spot with the sea behind the couple and the pools out of the frame, and family formals done straight after the ceremony while children still have energy.

The beach faces east toward the channel and Isla Mujeres, so the sun sets behind the resort and the sand falls into soft, even light at the end of the day, with no glare in anyone's eyes. A good rule here: start the ceremony about 90 minutes before sunset, and keep the final half hour of daylight for portraits. Mornings have a bonus: from roughly November through January, the sun comes up from behind Isla Mujeres, across the water.
