Sessions in the Water
Most Los Cabos beaches are too rough to stand in, so family sessions stay on the sand. Chileno Bay is different: the cove is protected, and on most days children can be in the shallows with their parents. We start on the sand with the group portrait, then move into the water for the playful frames, and finish on the rocks at the edge of the cove as the light warms.
Weddings
Auberge pitches the beach as Chileno Bay's ceremony setting, with receptions of up to about 250 guests and indoor rooms for smaller dinners and backups. Because the beach is public and popular, ask the resort how it manages the space during a ceremony. A day-after session in the water is the natural addition for couples who marry here.

Plan the ceremony for roughly 90 minutes before sunset; the portraits then land in the softest light of the day. That is around 4:05 pm in December and 5:35 pm in June; for a session we meet about an hour before sunset, around 4:35 pm in December and 6:05 pm in June.
Access and Vendors
For a private session, register the photographer at the front desk as your guest, with the time of the session, a day or two ahead. Weddings are coordinated with the resort's wedding team, which sets the rules for outside vendors and any access fee; ask for them in writing before you sign.

Up to four hours of coverage costs 1,800 to 2,800 USD; a full day of eight to ten hours with a second photographer is 3,500 to 5,500 USD; photography plus a wedding film is 5,500 to 8,000 USD. The resort's access charge for outside vendors is separate and paid to the hotel. Your edited gallery arrives within one to three business days.
