The approach is editorial rather than posed, which on a wedding day means we work the room and the light instead of stopping the celebration to arrange it.

The peninsula ends where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, and the desert runs straight into both. That collision is what gives a Los Cabos wedding its light, and it behaves differently on each coast.
The Pacific side faces west, so the sun sets into open water and the granite turns amber for the last forty minutes of the day. The Sea of Cortez side, toward San José del Cabo, is calmer and holds softer morning light. Where your ceremony sits decides which one you get.

Aim to finish the ceremony about ninety minutes before sunset. That leaves the golden hour free for portraits and puts the ceremony itself in light that is warm but not yet flat.
The sun sets behind the land here, so the beach cools earlier. A ceremony an hour before sunset gives even, shadowless light with no squinting.
First light at El Arco or on an empty beach. The peninsula is quiet before eight and the water is at its clearest.
October to May is the long dry stretch with the most reliable light. Summer brings heat and humidity, so we move coverage to the edges of the day.

Yes, the whole studio works in English and Spanish. On a Los Cabos wedding day that matters more than it sounds, because the couple and the guests are usually working in English while the venue staff, the officiant and the vendors are working in Spanish, and someone has to hold both.
