We work regularly along the Corridor at One&Only Palmilla, Waldorf Astoria Pedregal, Las Ventanas, Chileno Bay, Esperanza, and Montage, coordinating access with the concierge around your dinner reservation. If a property restricts outside photographers, we arrange a nearby beach alternative.
Golden hour is the heart of every session, with sunrise a quieter option for families with early-rising kids. With 340-plus days of sun a year, sessions run well year round; November through May is most comfortable, and winter brings the most dramatic Pacific sunsets, sometimes with breaching whales offshore. We avoid harsh midday sun.
Standard sessions comfortably hold up to ten people, covering immediate families and most multi-generation groups. For larger reunions we recommend an extended ninety to one-hundred-twenty-minute session with a shot list built in advance, so every pairing is captured without rushing. Larger groups are quoted individually.
After booking you receive a wardrobe guide for the desert-meets-sea palette: two or three earthy neutrals such as sand, ivory, sage, terracotta, and warm gold, in flowing linens and cottons that move in the breeze. We steer families away from neon, large logos, and busy prints, and we will gladly review your outfits beforehand.
