Zadún is a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Los Cabos, east of San José del Cabo, with about 113 rooms and suites in low-rise villas, each with a private plunge pool and terrace. It mixes desert landscape and beachfront, and its wedding materials say outside photographers are allowed, possibly with a fee. Sessions start at 245 USD plus travel; wedding coverage starts at 1,800 USD.
Zadún looks like the desert it sits in: low villas in earth tones, native planting and the sea at the end of every path. For photographs it gives something most beach resorts cannot, the dry, golden texture of Baja right next to the water.

Desert Meets Sea
The most distinctive frames at Zadún are not on the beach: they are on the paths through the desert planting, with cactus, stone and earth-toned walls catching the low sun. We usually start there, move to your villa's terrace and plunge pool, and finish on the beachfront in the last light. Neutral and earthy colors in your outfits match the setting beautifully.
Weddings
The resort caters every event with its own culinary team, and its wedding materials say outside music, photography and flower vendors are allowed, possibly with a fee. The beachfront is the main ceremony setting, with the resort's lawns and terraces for receptions. Ask for the current venue list and the outside-vendor terms in writing.
Light and Times
Times for Puerto Los Cabos on the 15th of each month in 2027. Baja California Sur keeps Pacific time all year (UTC-7, no daylight saving), the same as Alberta in winter.

A good rule here: start the ceremony about 90 minutes before sunset, and keep the final half hour of daylight for portraits. That is around 4:05 pm in December and 5:35 pm in June; for a session we meet about an hour before sunset, around 4:35 pm in December and 6:05 pm in June.
Access and Vendors
For a private session, register the photographer at the front desk as your guest, with the time of the session, a day or two ahead. Weddings are coordinated with the resort's wedding team, which sets the rules for outside vendors and any access fee; ask for them in writing before you sign.

IVAE Studios publishes its prices. Half-day coverage of up to four hours is 1,800 to 2,800 USD, enough for the ceremony, family photos, portraits and the start of the reception. A full day of eight to ten hours with a second photographer is 3,500 to 5,500 USD, and adding a wedding film brings it to 5,500 to 8,000 USD. Every gallery is edited and delivered in a private 4K gallery within one to three business days.
