Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is an adults-only resort in the Quivira community on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, next to Quivira Golf Club. A Pacific Wedding
On the Pacific side, the timing is generous: the sun goes down into the ocean in front of the ceremony, and the color lasts well into the minutes after sunset. Wind and spray are part of the setting, so plan hair, veils and florals that can move. We place the ceremony so guests look at the water with the sun to the side, which keeps faces comfortable and the sky in the frame.
After Sunset
The resort's wedding team also plans bonfires on the beach, which make the most atmospheric frames of the night: faces lit warm against a deep blue sky. Ask for the bonfire right after dinner, while there is still a little color in the west.

Times for Quivira on the 15th of each month in 2027. Baja California Sur keeps Pacific time all year (UTC-7, no daylight saving), the same as Alberta in winter.

A good rule here: start the ceremony about 90 minutes before sunset, and keep the final half hour of daylight for portraits. That is around 4:05 pm in December and 5:35 pm in June; for a session we meet about an hour before sunset, around 4:35 pm in December and 6:05 pm in June.
Access and Vendors
For a private session, register the photographer at the front desk as your guest, with the time of the session, a day or two ahead. Weddings are coordinated with the resort's wedding team, which sets the rules for outside vendors and any access fee; ask for them in writing before you sign.

Coverage and Prices
What does it cost? Half-day coverage, up to four hours, is 1,800 to 2,800 USD. The full day, eight to ten hours with two photographers, is 3,500 to 5,500 USD, the right choice for larger weddings. With a wedding film added, 5,500 to 8,000 USD. We deliver every wedding gallery within one to three business days, not the weeks or months that are common elsewhere.
