Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas is on the East Cape, about 45 minutes from the airport, with roughly two miles of calm, swimmable beach on the Sea of Cortez and a private marina. Because the beach faces east, it is one of the few Los Cabos resorts where sunrise comes straight out of the sea. Sessions start at 245 USD plus travel; wedding coverage starts at 1,800 USD.
Costa Palmas feels far from the Cabo most people know: no marina crowds, no Corridor traffic, just a long, quiet beach on the Sea of Cortez and a resort built around it. For photographs it changes the plan, because here the morning is as beautiful as the evening.

Sunrise or Sunset
Most Los Cabos resorts face south or west, so the beach glows in the evening. Costa Palmas faces east onto the Sea of Cortez, which means the sun rises out of the water in front of you. For families with young children, a sunrise session is often the easiest plan of the trip: everyone is awake early anyway, the beach is empty and the light is soft for faces. Sunset sessions here work too, with warm light falling across the beach from behind the resort.
Where We Shoot
The beach is long and calm, so we can walk to an empty stretch even on a busy day. The water is often still enough for families to stand in the shallows, which is rare in Los Cabos. The marina adds clean lines, boats and a different background for couples, and the resort's palm-lined paths give shade for the first minutes of a session.
Weddings
The resort hosts weddings on its lawns, terraces and beach, with a ballroom and a large ballroom terrace for receptions, according to its wedding materials. Capacities and packages change, so confirm them with the events team. Guests should plan for the drive from the airport and stay on property for the wedding weekend.

For sunrise sessions we meet 20 minutes before sunrise; for sunset, about an hour before. A ceremony 90 minutes before sunset lands around 4:05 pm in December and 5:35 pm in June.

Our wedding prices are public. Up to four hours of coverage costs 1,800 to 2,800 USD; a full day of eight to ten hours with a second photographer is 3,500 to 5,500 USD; photography plus a wedding film is 5,500 to 8,000 USD. The resort's access charge for outside vendors is separate and paid to the hotel. Your edited gallery arrives within one to three business days.
