Most studios here do not publish a number

Search for a photographer in Cancún and almost every site answers with a contact form. We checked the ten studios Google Maps shows for this city: four publish no price at all, and only one publishes a delivery deadline. That is not a small omission. Without a number you cannot budget the trip, and without a deadline you cannot plan when the photos will exist.

So we publish both. Portrait, couple and family sessions start at 850 USD. Wedding coverage runs from 1,800 to 5,500 USD depending on hours and whether a second photographer joins. The complete 4K gallery arrives in 1 to 3 business days, with a curated preview inside the first 24 to 48 hours. The market standard in this city is four to eight weeks.

Prices are in US dollars because most of our couples travel from the United States and Canada. We invoice in pesos at the day's rate for clients in Mexico.

The packages, in plain numbers

Every package below includes the same three things: the session directed start to finish by our creative director, editing on every delivered frame, and a private 4K gallery you can download in full.

01

Portrait session, from 850 USD

Couples, family or maternity. Around 90 minutes at golden hour, one or two settings, up to 10 people. Wardrobe consultation before the date and location scouting included. Full gallery in 1 to 3 business days.

02

Half-day wedding, 1,800 to 2,800 USD

Roughly 4 to 6 hours of coverage. Getting ready, ceremony and the first part of the reception. One photographer, second on request. Preview inside 24 to 48 hours.

03

Full-day wedding, 3,500 to 5,500 USD

Up to 10 hours with a second photographer. From the morning through the party, including the group portrait list and the golden-hour couple session. Full gallery in 1 to 3 business days.

04

Elopement and proposal, from 850 USD

For two people and a witness or two. One hour on the beach or at a cenote, timed to the light. Often booked together with a next-day session at a better rate.

05

Wedding film, quoted with the photo package

Highlight film or full feature, shot by the same coordinated team so nobody works around anybody. Priced with the photography, not as a separate vendor.

06

Extra hours and second photographer

Quoted before you sign, never after the fact. The number in your contract is the number you pay.

The costs that belong to someone else

01

Resort vendor fee

Many hotels in the Hotel Zone charge an outside vendor fee to photographers who are not on their in-house list. It is paid by the couple directly to the hotel, it is not ours, and it ranges widely by property. We confirm the current rule at your resort before you sign anything.

02

Travel outside the coast

Cancún, the Hotel Zone, Costa Mujeres, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Tulum carry no travel charge. For Mérida, Los Cabos, San Miguel de Allende or anywhere further, we quote flights and one night, at cost, before you decide.

03

Permits at protected sites

Archaeological zones and some public beaches require a permit for professional cameras. We tell you which settings need one and what it costs so it never becomes a surprise on the day.

04

Prints and albums

The gallery download is included. Physical albums and fine art prints are ordered separately and quoted per item, because the paper and the size change the price more than the labour does.

When money changes hands, and why

There are no hidden stages. Two payments for a session, three for a wedding, all of it written in the contract before anything is charged.

The retainer holds your date

Weddings hold the date with a retainer. Until it clears, the date stays open to anyone. It is credited against the total, never in addition to it.

The balance before the day

The rest is due before the session or the wedding, not after. Nobody should be handling transfers on the morning of their own wedding.

Cards, transfer or cash

We accept bank transfer, card and cash, in dollars or pesos. Ask for the invoice if you need one for tax purposes in Mexico.

Delivery does not depend on payment

The gallery arrives in 1 to 3 business days regardless. We do not hold photographs as leverage.

From question to quote

Step 01

Tell us the date and the place

Your dates, the resort or the venue, how many people and whether you want film as well. That is enough for a real number.

Step 02

We reply the same business day

With availability, the exact package, what your resort charges as a vendor fee if it charges one, and the delivery date in writing.

Step 03

The contract carries the number

Hours, deliverables, deadline and price, all in the same document. What is not written does not exist.

What people ask about price

How much does a photographer cost in Cancún?

Our published range is 850 USD for a portrait session and 1,800 to 5,500 USD for a wedding, depending on hours and second photographer. Across the city the spread is wider: some studios publish sessions from 250 USD and weddings from 900 USD, and several publish nothing at all. Ask any studio for the number and the delivery deadline in writing before you compare.

What does a photo session include?

Around 90 minutes at golden hour, one or two settings, up to 10 people, a wardrobe consultation before the date, location scouting, editing on every delivered frame, and the complete 4K gallery in 1 to 3 business days. Downloads included, no per-photo charges.

How many photos do we get?

Every frame that works, edited. A portrait session usually lands between 60 and 120 images and a full wedding day in the several hundreds. We do not sell photographs back to you one at a time.

Is there a resort fee on top?

Sometimes, and it is not ours. Several Hotel Zone properties charge an outside vendor fee to photographers who are not on their in-house list, paid by the couple to the hotel. We check your resort's current policy before you sign and tell you exactly what applies.

Do you charge for travel inside the Riviera Maya?

No. Cancún, Costa Mujeres, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Tulum carry no travel charge. Further destinations are quoted at cost, in advance.

Why is the gallery so much faster than everyone else?

Because we cap the calendar. The studio takes a maximum of 12 weddings a year, which is what makes a 1 to 3 business day delivery possible instead of the four to eight weeks that is standard here. It is a scheduling decision, not a technical one.

Can we pay in Mexican pesos?

Yes. Prices are published in US dollars because most of our clients travel from the United States and Canada, and we invoice in pesos at the day's rate for clients in Mexico.

Ask for the exact number

Send your dates and your resort. We reply the same business day with availability, the package, any vendor fee your hotel charges, and the delivery date in writing.
