Weddings, from Elopement to Buyout
The resort's private beach is its favorite setting for smaller weddings, and its plaza and pergola settings work for larger dinners. Wedding planners note per-person setup fees for each venue, which the resort revises, so ask for the current list. A full buyout is possible for couples who want the property to themselves. For photographs, a beach ceremony in the late afternoon, then portraits along the sand and dinner as the sky turns, is the plan we would choose.
Honeymoons and Family Sessions
Many guests at Las Ventanas are on a honeymoon or a family milestone trip. Your suite's terrace with the sea behind you, the beach and the resort's gardens give three distinct looks within a few minutes' walk, so a 60-minute session covers them without hurrying. Times for Las Ventanas al Paraíso on the 15th of each month in 2027. Baja California Sur keeps Pacific time all year (UTC-7, no daylight saving), the same as Alberta in winter.

We plan ceremonies to start about 90 minutes before sunset, so that family photos and portraits fall in the warm last light. That is around 4:05 pm in December and 5:35 pm in June; for a session we meet about an hour before sunset, around 4:35 pm in December and 6:05 pm in June.
Access and Vendors
For a private session, register the photographer at the front desk as your guest, with the time of the session, a day or two ahead. Weddings are coordinated with the resort's wedding team, which sets the rules for outside vendors and any access fee; ask for them in writing before you sign.
