A good photoshoot at Riu Caribe comes down to two choices: the hour and the stretch of beach. This guide covers both, plus how access works for guests.

Where We Shoot

The calm bay. Children can wade safely in the shallow water, so we photograph play rather than poses.

The water's edge. We always finish at the shoreline, away from the pools and loungers, where the background is only sea and sky.

Nearby. Public beaches along this shore, such as Playa Langosta and Playa Tortugas, have the same calm water if you want a second setting.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

The bay is calm and shallow, ideal for children, and in summer the sun sets over the water to the west; in winter, the hour before sunset gives soft, even light on the sand.

How the Photographer Gets In

If you are staying at Riu Caribe, the photographer comes in as your invited guest: give the front desk our name and the session time a day or two ahead, and we check in at the lobby. For a private session, a staying guest is very seldom asked for the outside vendor fee that resorts charge for weddings, but policies change, so we confirm it with the resort in writing before your date.
