The bay shore. Calm water and an adults-only beach, quiet at the edges of the day.
The water's edge. We always finish at the shoreline, away from the pools and loungers, where the background is only sea and sky.
Nearby. Public beaches along this shore, such as Playa Langosta and Playa Tortugas, have the same calm water if you want a second setting.

The bay is calm and shallow, ideal for children, and in summer the sun sets over the water to the west; in winter, the hour before sunset gives soft, even light on the sand.
How the Photographer Gets In
For staying guests, there is no complicated paperwork: you register the photographer as your guest with the front desk a day or two before, and we check in on arrival. The vendor fee you may read about applies to weddings; for a private session, Occidental Costa Cancún guests are very seldom asked for it, and we confirm the policy in writing before your date.
