The former Ritz-Carlton is the most classic hotel in Cancún, and it photographs like one: elegant interiors, terraces and a long private beach. A session here can feel more like an editorial than a beach shoot. Here is how we plan it.

Where We Shoot
The interiors and terraces. Grand staircases, corridors and terraces give classic, elegant frames while the sun is still strong.

The beach faces east, so evenings bring soft, even light on the sand; sunrise brings the sun up straight out of the sea.
How the Photographer Gets In
If you are staying at Kempinski Cancún, the photographer comes in as your invited guest: give the front desk our name and the session time a day or two ahead, and we check in at the lobby. For a private session, a staying guest is very seldom asked for the outside vendor fee that resorts charge for weddings, but policies change, so we confirm it with the resort in writing before your date.
