Hotel Xcaret Arte is the adults-only hotel of the Xcaret complex. Its signature venue is the Capilla de Todos los Ángeles, a circular glass chapel atop the Xpiral Pyramid with 360-degree views, recognised by the Catholic Church; the Ecumenical Chapel and Temple by the sea seat about 120 each.
Hotel Xcaret Arte has some of the most unusual wedding venues in Mexico, starting with a glass chapel on top of a pyramid. This guide covers each venue from the photographer's side, and links to our guide on the Xcaret vendor fee and its room-block waiver.

Where the Ceremony Happens
The Capilla de Todos los Ángeles sits atop the Xpiral Pyramid: circular, glass from floor to ceiling, with 360-degree views of the sea and the jungle, and recognised by the Catholic Church. Listings give about 120 to 150 guests. Glass walls mean bright backgrounds, so we expose for faces and use the late light when the glow is warm.
The Ecumenical Chapel, open-air and covered with ocean views, and the Ecumenical Temple by the sea each hold about 120. Mirador Artistas suits intimate ceremonies of about 40. Most spaces carry a venue fee. Read our guide to the Hotel Xcaret vendor fee and room-block waiver before you sign.

Playa del Carmen faces east toward Cozumel, so the sun rises over the channel and sets behind the town, leaving the beach in soft, even light at the end of the day. We plan ceremonies to start about 90 minutes before sunset, so that family photos and portraits fall in the warm last light. If you can face an early start, from roughly October through March the sunrise appears from behind Cozumel.
Bringing Your Own Photographer
Expect Hotel Xcaret Arte to charge outside wedding vendors for access. Resorts call it a vendor fee, an outside supplier fee or a day pass, and they revise it by season and wedding package, which is why we do not print a number here. The moment to negotiate it is before you sign your wedding package; afterwards coordinators have little room. Ask whether it is charged per vendor or per person, and get the answer by email. We handle the paperwork with your coordinator.
