Where We Shoot
The beach. Open Caribbean, deep blue water and soft light at the end of the day.
The water's edge. We always finish at the shoreline, away from the pools and loungers, where the background is only sea and sky.
Nearby. Public beaches along this stretch, such as Playa Marlin and Playa Ballenas, offer wide sand if you want a second setting.

The beach faces east: the hour before sunset gives soft, even light, and sunrise lifts straight out of the sea. For a sunset over water, the Nichupté lagoon is just across the boulevard.
How the Photographer Gets In
How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Beach Palace front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing.
