Chapter 02. The Studio

A studio of one mind, two languages, three coastlines.

IVAE Studios was founded in Cancún in 2023 by Vianey Díaz, a Mexican photographer with a decade behind editorial cameras and a singular conviction: that the most luxurious thing we can offer affluent couples is not abundance, but restraint.

We do not photograph fifty weddings a year. We do not deliver galleries in four to six weeks. We work, instead, in the hour the light is honest. And we deliver the work in days, not weeks.

Chapter 03. The Experience

Three commitments. Every wedding.

The IVAE wedding experience reduces, on purpose, to three things. We art-direct quietly. We move discreetly. We deliver, fast.

01 / I

The art of direction.

We work the way an art director moves on a magazine cover shoot. Quietly, decisively, in two languages, never asking you to say cheese. Editorial pacing. Bilingual flow. A lead photographer plus a second who reads the room.

02 / II

The art of discretion.

We dress in linen, not vests. We cover full days without ever crowding the aisle. We coordinate the timeline with your planner three weeks before the camera does. Your guests will remember the wedding. Not the photographers.

03 / III

The art of delivery.

A private gallery within seventy-two hours. Not weeks. Hand-edited, never auto-toned, never AI-finished. Six hundred to eight hundred frames, color-graded for print. A cinematic film when the package calls for it. Always early, never late.

Chapter 05. The Method

From inquiry to full gallery.

Six chapters, often shorter. Always honest. Here is the rhythm of an IVAE wedding, as written into our terms of engagement.

  1. 01 / Inquiry

Day One . The First Email

You write. We respond within the same business day, in English or Spanish, with a question or two and a calendar link. No automated funnels, no PDF brochures.

  2. 02 / Conversation

    Week One . A Thirty-Minute Call

A video call with Vianey. We listen. We ask about the venue, the family, the music, the in-laws' politics. By the end you will know whether we are right for you. So will we.

  3. 03 / Pre-scout

Three Weeks Before . The Walkthrough

We visit the resort at the exact hour your shoot will run. We map the light. We meet the planner. We pre-clear vendor passes and identify the rain plan.

  4. 04 / The Day

Wedding Day . Four to Twelve Hours

We arrive in linen, not vests. We move with your planner's timeline. We finish the ceremony ninety minutes before sunset and hold the golden hour open for portraits.

  5. 05 / Sneak Peek

Within Seventy-Two Hours . The First Ten

You wake up the day after to a private link with the first ten frames. Hand-edited. Already shareable with family. Already ready for your social.

  6. 06 / Delivery

Within Three Weeks . The Full Gallery

Six hundred to eight hundred fully graded frames in 4K, downloadable, printable, archived to cold storage. With a cinematic film if your collection includes one.

Chapter 06. The Investment

Three tiers, each complete.

Every collection is customizable. We accept a limited number of weddings each month so that the studio's attention never thins. Investment ranges from $1,800 to $3,500+ USD.

Chapter 09. The Coastlines

Three coasts, three kinds of light.

We work in three places, and in three places only. So that we know every palm, every cenote, every angle of the sun.

Riviera Maya

Cenotes, jungle, Mayan ruins, Mayakoba bridges. Our most cinematic coast. Where the light bends through palms and water.

Los Cabos

Desert cliffs, dramatic arches, Pacific sunset ceremonies. The opposite light. The opposite color. The most cinematic skies in Mexico.

Chapter 10. Considered Questions

Considered, before you ask.

Our collections range from $1,800 to $3,500+ USD. The Vow starts at $1,800 (four hours, one photographer, three hundred plus images). The Celebration adds a second shooter and engagement session. The Cinematic Day includes cinematic film and eight hundred plus images.

Eight to fourteen months before your date, especially for peak season (November to April). We accept a limited number of weddings per month to ensure full creative attention. Last-minute weddings are occasionally possible during May, September, and October.

We cover Cancún Hotel Zone, the full Riviera Maya (Puerto Morelos to Tulum), and Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo). Travel within these regions is included in all packages. Outside the corridors we quote travel transparently in advance.

November through April (dry season). Temperatures around 80°F, low humidity. December to March is peak. June and July also excellent for the Riviera Maya, with fewer tourists.

Schedule to end ninety minutes before sunset. Winter: 4:00 PM ceremony. Summer: 5:30 PM. This gives time for ceremony, golden-hour portraits, and sunset reception photos.

Three hundred to eight hundred plus depending on collection. Every image is hand-graded. First sneak peek within seventy-two hours, full gallery within three weeks.

The Celebration and The Cinematic Day include a second photographer as standard. Essential for parallel getting-ready coverage, dual ceremony angles, and guest candids during the cocktail hour.

Yes. The Cinematic Day includes a three to five minute highlight film and full ceremony edit. Same team, one creative direction, one timeline.

Included in The Celebration and The Cinematic Day. Cenotes, Tulum ruins, resort grounds. Often scheduled the day before the wedding, after rehearsal.

We pre-scout indoor backup locations during the venue walkthrough. Tropical showers are usually brief, twenty to forty minutes, and post-rain skies often produce the most dramatic, romantic images.
