We do not direct families into shapes. We slow the day down, then watch carefully, and let the picture happen. The grandfather who never sits still. The toddler who buries her face in her mother's neck. The cousins who finally see each other after a year apart on opposite coasts.

Most resort photography is built around a single shot list, executed in fifteen minutes, between weddings, against the same hibiscus wall. Our sessions are built differently, around your family's pace, energy, and the last hour of light.

The result is a small, considered archive. Sixty to a hundred and thirty images that look like the cover of a travel issue, then quietly become the photographs your children show their children.

Wardrobe and styling

A palette your photographs will thank you for.

Coordinated, never matched. Every booked family receives a personal style guide with palette suggestions, fabric notes, and links to pieces that move beautifully in ocean light. The goal is timeless, not trendy.

Fabrics that move
Linen, cotton voile, silk crepe, light knits. Anything that lifts in the breeze and skims the body.
Coordinated, not matching
Pick two or three palette tones across the family. We sequence outfits so siblings, parents, and grandparents read as one frame.
What to leave at the resort
Neon brights, large logos, character prints, busy small patterns, and shoes the children fight to take off on sand.

FAQ

Cancún family photographer questions.

Golden hour, the final 60 to 90 minutes before sunset, produces the most flattering, warm light. In Cancun, sunset ranges from approximately 5:45 PM in winter to 7:30 PM in summer. We schedule every session to coincide with this window.

We send a personalised wardrobe guide after booking. Coordinate around two or three complementary tones, ivory, sand, sage, dusty blue. Avoid neon colours, large logos, and busy patterns. Linen and flowing fabrics work best in ocean breezes.

We use a play-based approach. Kids explore and interact naturally while we capture genuine expressions. Sessions are planned around energy levels and nap schedules, with breaks for snacks. We never force poses.

Absolutely. We create a shot list that includes the full group, individual family units, grandparents with grandchildren, and sibling groups. For groups larger than 12, we recommend a 90 to 120 minute session.

Four to six weeks before your travel dates, especially during peak season (December through April). Holiday weeks and spring break fill particularly fast.

Yes. Our team travels to your resort or any location you choose, beach, pool terraces, tropical gardens, or architectural features. We also offer off-property sessions at cenotes, ruins, and private beaches.

A 60 minute session yields 60 to 90 images. A 90 minute session produces 90 to 130. Every photograph is colour-graded, retouched, and held to the same editorial standard.

Cancun's rain showers are typically brief (20 to 45 minutes) and often produce spectacular skies. If sustained rain is forecast, we reschedule at no additional cost. We monitor weather daily during your trip.

A preview of 10 to 15 images is delivered within 72 hours. Your full curated gallery arrives within three to four weeks, with high-resolution print files and web-optimised versions.

Yes. Many families add a 30 minute couples segment while grandparents enjoy time with the children. We also offer extended sessions with individual portraits of each child.
