We are IVAE Studios, a destination wedding studio from Cancún. In 2027 we are photographing weddings for brides and grooms from the United States at no cost: your full wedding day, from getting ready to the party, with all your edited photos. Whether you marry in Chicago, Dallas, New York or on the beach in Cancún, the only thing you cover is our flights and stay, quoted at cost before you confirm. In Cancún or the Riviera Maya there is no travel cost at all. Simple as that: write to us.

We photograph twelve weddings a year in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, most of them for couples who fly in from the United States. In 2027 we want to meet you where you live and build our work in your cities. We would rather spend on a flight and a hotel than on advertising, and you get a wedding photographed the way we do it, for the cost of a plane ticket. That is the whole deal.

Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes. Your full wedding day photographed by our two photographers, all your edited photos, the slideshow and your private online gallery, free. You cover our travel at cost when the wedding is outside Cancún and the Riviera Maya, and any fee your venue charges outside vendors. Prints and albums are not included; if you want the film or an album, those are at our regular prices. There is no obligation to add anything.
How much is the travel?
It depends on your city and your dates: round trip flights from Cancún for our two photographers, two nights near your venue and local transport, all at cost. Cancún has direct flights from most big US cities, so it is usually less than couples expect. We send you the estimate with real fares before you confirm, and the receipts after. For weddings in Cancún or the Riviera Maya there is no travel cost.
Where can the wedding be?
Anywhere in the United States, or in Cancún and the Riviera Maya. Cancún is a direct flight from most big cities, which is why Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Denver and Los Angeles are the easiest for us. Other cities work too; the travel estimate tells you exactly what it costs.
Do we need to have a date or a venue already?
No. Tell us the month you are thinking of and we will tell you what we have open. Dates are first come, first served, and we confirm them in writing.
How many weddings are you doing this way?
A limited number in 2027, because we want to give each one the same care as any other wedding we photograph. When a month fills up, we say so.
Does the venue charge for an outside photographer?
Some venues and resorts charge a vendor fee or require a day pass for outside vendors. That fee, when it exists, is paid by the couple. We will tell you what to expect before you confirm.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Vianey and the team are fully bilingual. From the first email to the final gallery, everything is in English, with Spanish available if you prefer.
Can we apply if we already booked a photographer?
Yes. Tell us your plans and we will tell you how we can fit.
What happens with our information?
We use it to reply to your application and to send you a handful of emails about this offer and our wedding work. We never sell or share your details, and every email has a way to unsubscribe. Privacy Policy.

This offer is for legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. If you are planning a wedding in Mexico from somewhere else, write to [email protected] and we will gladly help.
