A Couples Photoshoot at Viceroy Riviera Maya: Spots, Times and Prices

Here is how we plan a couples session at Viceroy Riviera Maya.

The Session at a Glance

• HotelLuxury villa resort by Viceroy, north of Playa del Carmen
• VillasPrivate villas among the jungle
• Coast facesEast, onto the Caribbean

Where We Shoot

Your villa. Private and green.

The beach. Quiet sand at the last light.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

Villa and jungle while the sun is high, the beach for the last hour. Mornings have a bonus: from roughly November through January, the sun comes up from behind Cozumel, across the water.

How the Photographer Gets In

How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Viceroy Riviera Maya front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing. Non-guests should plan for a day pass, as our access guide explains.

Sessions in the Riviera Maya, Through Our Lens

Real IVAE Studios sessions along the Riviera Maya. They show our work in the area, not necessarily at Viceroy Riviera Maya.
