A Couples Photoshoot at UNICO 20°87°: Spots, Times and Prices

Here is how we plan a couples session at UNICO 20°87°.

The Session at a Glance

• HotelAdults-only, all-inclusive, between Xpu-Ha and Akumal
• EventsAn 11,600 sq ft ballroom and outdoor spaces
• CeremoniesIncluding Catholic ceremonies
• Beach facesEast, onto the open Caribbean

Where We Shoot

The beach. White sand and open sea.

The architecture. Clean, contemporary frames.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

The hour before sunset is soft and even; sunrise lifts out of the sea. From roughly August through April the sun rises from behind Cozumel, which makes a sunrise session here unusually striking.

How the Photographer Gets In

How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the UNICO 20°87° front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing. Non-guests should plan for a day pass, as our access guide explains.

Sessions in Akumal, Through Our Lens

Real IVAE Studios sessions in Akumal and along the Riviera Maya. They show our work in the area, not necessarily at UNICO 20°87°.
