A Families and Couples Photoshoot at The Grand at Moon Palace: Spots, Times and Prices

At a complex the size of Moon Palace, the best photoshoots are the ones that do not try to see everything. We choose one or two areas close together and work with the light. Here is how.

Where We Shoot

The beach. Open Caribbean, best at sunrise or in the last light.

The gardens and gazebos. The Lily Gazebo by its pond and the garden gazebos give green, shaded frames when no wedding is booked.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

Sunrise for families with young children, when the beach is empty; the hour before sunset for couples.

How the Photographer Gets In

If you are staying at The Grand at Moon Palace, the photographer comes in as your invited guest: give the front desk our name and the session time a day or two ahead, and we check in at the lobby. For a private session, a staying guest is very seldom asked for the outside vendor fee that resorts charge for weddings, but policies change, so we confirm it with the resort in writing before your date.
