Where the Ceremony Happens
The resort, when it was Wyndham Alltra Cancún, offered wedding, vow renewal and anniversary packages, some free with conditions; after the change to Sunscape, ask the wedding team which venues and packages apply now. On this stretch the best ceremony spot faces the open Caribbean, with pools and loungers out of frame.
Ask which way the aisle faces and how far the reception is; short walks keep family photos inside the golden light.

This stretch of the Hotel Zone faces east onto the open Caribbean, so the sun sets behind the hotel and the beach falls into soft, even light at the end of the day. The sea is livelier here than in the bay, with real waves on windy days. Across the boulevard, the Nichupté lagoon catches the actual sunset over water. We plan ceremonies to start about 90 minutes before sunset, so that family photos and portraits fall in the warm last light.

One budget line couples often miss: Sunscape Cancún, like nearly every all-inclusive resort here, charges outside wedding vendors for access to the property. It may be a fixed vendor fee or a per-person day pass, and it changes with the season and the package tier.
