Where the Ceremony Happens
The Preferred Gazebo, up to about 200 guests, is a natural-material gazebo decorated with flowers and set against the ocean. We turn the couple toward the open side so faces are not lost in shade.
The Purple Rooftop Terrace and the Love Terrace give panoramic views of the resort and the coastline, ideal for ceremonies or cocktails at the end of the day, when height keeps the warm light longer. The Energy Dry Bar, about 80, suits small ceremonies or cocktails.

The coast here faces east, and the Puerto Morelos reef, a protected national park a short distance offshore, breaks the waves, so the water near the beach is usually calm. The sun sets behind the resort, leaving the sand in soft, even light at the end of the day. We plan ceremonies to start about 90 minutes before sunset, so that family photos and portraits fall in the warm last light.
Bringing Your Own Photographer
Like most all-inclusive resorts on this coast, Secrets Riviera Cancún charges outside wedding photographers for access, either as a vendor fee or as a per-person day pass, and the amount changes by season and package. Ask for the exact figure in writing before you sign, and ask whether it applies per vendor or per person, because a photographer and a second shooter are two people. Coverage and Prices
IVAE Studios publishes its prices. Half-day coverage of up to four hours is 1,800 to 2,800 USD, enough for the ceremony, family photos, portraits and the start of the reception. A full day of eight to ten hours with a second photographer is 3,500 to 5,500 USD, and adding a wedding film brings it to 5,500 to 8,000 USD. Every gallery is edited and delivered in a private 4K gallery within one to three business days.
