Where We Shoot

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

Jungle and cenote while the sun is high, the beach for the last hour. If you can face an early start, from roughly October through March the sunrise appears from behind Cozumel.

How the Photographer Gets In

Access is simple for guests of Sandos Caracol. Put the photographer's name on your reservation at the front desk with the time of the session, and we meet you in the lobby. Resorts usually reserve their outside vendor fee for weddings, so a private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged, though we always confirm the current rule in writing first. Visitors who are not staying at the resort normally need a day pass; this guide explains how it works.
