Where the Ceremony Happens
The resort lists three ceremony options: the beach, the Sky Terrace and a gazebo. The Sky Terrace keeps the warm light longest; the beach gives the calm, reef-protected sea behind you.
Puerto Morelos town, with its famous leaning lighthouse and its pier, is a short drive away and makes a charming second setting.

The coast here faces east, and the Puerto Morelos reef, a protected national park a short distance offshore, breaks the waves, so the water near the beach is usually calm. The sun sets behind the resort, leaving the sand in soft, even light at the end of the day. We plan ceremonies to start about 90 minutes before sunset, so that family photos and portraits fall in the warm last light.
Bringing Your Own Photographer
Bringing your own photographer to Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancún is allowed, with an access charge for outside wedding vendors that the resort sets by season and package. Because the number moves, the only figure that counts is the one in your own contract or in an email from your coordinator. Ask two questions: is it per vendor or per person, and does a higher wedding package include it? We register with the resort and send our documents ourselves.

Coverage and Prices
Our wedding prices are public. Up to four hours of coverage costs 1,800 to 2,800 USD; a full day of eight to ten hours with a second photographer is 3,500 to 5,500 USD; photography plus a wedding film is 5,500 to 8,000 USD. The resort's access charge for outside vendors is separate and paid to the hotel. Your edited gallery arrives within one to three business days.
