The beach faces east: sunrise lifts out of the sea, and the hour before sunset is soft and even. If you can face an early start, from roughly September through April the sunrise appears from behind Cozumel.
How the Photographer Gets In
How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing.
