Where We Shoot

The shoreline. Calm, shallow water behind the reef for playing and walking into the sea.

Puerto Morelos town. Puerto Morelos town, with its famous leaning lighthouse and its pier, is a short drive away and makes a charming second setting.

Cenotes. Inland, the Ruta de los Cenotes starts just west of town, for couples who want a jungle and cenote session the next day.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

The reef keeps the water calm, which suits children and in-the-water frames. The hour before sunset gives soft, even light; sunrise lifts straight out of the sea.

How the Photographer Gets In

If you are staying at Grand Residences Riviera Cancún, the photographer comes in as your invited guest: give the front desk our name and the session time a day or two ahead, and we check in at the lobby. For a private session, a staying guest is very seldom asked for the outside vendor fee that resorts charge for weddings, but policies change, so we confirm it with the resort in writing before your date.
