A Couples Photoshoot at El Dorado Maroma: Spots, Times and Prices

Here is how we plan a photoshoot at El Dorado Maroma, from the first frame to the last light on the sand.

The Session at a Glance

• ResortAn adults-only, gourmet-inclusive Karisma resort on Punta Maroma's long, quiet beach
• Beach facesEast, onto the open Caribbean

Where We Shoot

The water's edge. Away from the pools and loungers, with only sea and sky behind you.

Gardens and terraces. Shade and green frames when the sun is high.

Sunrise or Sunset

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

The beach faces east: sunrise lifts out of the sea, and the hour before sunset is soft and even.

How the Photographer Gets In

Access is simple for guests of El Dorado Maroma. Put the photographer's name on your reservation at the front desk with the time of the session, and we meet you in the lobby. Resorts usually reserve their outside vendor fee for weddings, so a private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged, though we always confirm the current rule in writing first. Visitors who are not staying at the resort normally need a day pass; this guide explains how it works.

Sessions in the Riviera Maya, Through Our Lens

Real IVAE Studios sessions along the Riviera Maya. They show our work in the area, not necessarily at El Dorado Maroma.
