Dreams Aventuras is a Dreams resort in Puerto Aventuras, a marina town between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. For a session, the hour before sunset at the water's edge, or sunrise. Sessions start at 245 USD.
Here is how we plan a photoshoot at Dreams Aventuras, from the first frame to the last light.

Where We Shoot
The water's edge. Away from loungers, with only sea and sky behind you.
The grounds. Shade, jungle or gardens while the sun is high.

The beach faces east: sunrise lifts out of the sea, and the hour before sunset is soft and even. Mornings have a bonus: from roughly September through April, the sun comes up from behind Cozumel, across the water.
How the Photographer Gets In
How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Dreams Aventuras front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing. Non-guests should plan for a day pass, as our access guide explains.
Sessions in the Riviera Maya, Through Our Lens
Real IVAE Studios sessions along the Riviera Maya. They show our work in the area, not necessarily at Dreams Aventuras.
