Where We Shoot

The water's edge. Away from loungers, with only sea and sky behind you.

The grounds. Shade, jungle or gardens while the sun is high.

Times for this beach on the 15th of each month in 2027.

The beach faces east: sunrise lifts out of the sea, and the hour before sunset is soft and even. Mornings have a bonus: from roughly February through April and August through November, the sun comes up from behind Cozumel, across the water.

How the Photographer Gets In

How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing. Non-guests should plan for a day pass, as our access guide explains.
