Where We Shoot
The lagoon views. Calm water and mangroves around the buildings.

The canals. Mayakoba's resorts sit on a network of lagoons and mangrove canals, and boats link the four resorts; El Camaleón, the Greg Norman course that was the first PGA Tour venue in Latin America, winds through the same jungle.

How the Photographer Gets In
How does the photographer get in? As your guest. Tell the Alila Mayakoba front desk our name and the time of the session in advance, and we check in at the lobby like anyone meeting you for dinner. A short private session for a staying guest is very seldom charged the outside vendor fee used for weddings, and we confirm the current policy with the resort in writing. Non-guests should plan for a day pass, as our access guide explains.
