The Gathering
A whole family, in one place, once in a long while
A reunion is not a regular family session. It is the rare week when three or four generations land in the same place at the same time: grandparents who flew the farthest, adult siblings from different cities, in-laws, and a tier of cousins who only see each other when a trip like this one finally happens. The studio exists to make sure that week leaves something behind, a photograph of everyone, together, that no phone in the group quite manages because someone always ends up behind the camera.
We are a family reunion photographer in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and most of the gatherings we cover are built around an all-inclusive resort: one property, one home base, everyone under the same roof for several days. That format is what we plan for, big groups, mixed ages, a multi-day rhythm of welcome dinners, pool afternoons and excursions, with one anchored portrait session that gives the family the frames they came for. If your group is smaller or this is a single immediate-family shoot, our Cancún family photography page is the better starting point. If the reunion is built around a milestone, an anniversary, a vow renewal, a destination wedding, see our event and wedding coverage instead.
The studio is led by Director Vianey Díaz, works in English and Spanish through every conversation, and schedules at golden hour so the light flatters every face in a group of thirty at once. We cover the Cancún Hotel Zone, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres and the length of the Riviera Maya.
